TreeTown Murals LLC

My name is Mary Thiefels.  I am an Ann Arbor native and have been active in the arts community for years.  I have enjoyed wearing many hats, working with all kinds of artists in many different media.  I am an active mural artist and educator working within the public and private sector.

As a mural artist I focus on visual development within local communities.  By bringing more public mural art to the city centers, we are paving the way for a richer, more dynamic, and prosperous urban life.  Ultimately we are creating spaces that are safer, more engaging, and accessible.  My projects often reach out to members of the community, making the production of the mural into an event. I am currently accepting commissions nationwide.  

As an educator I teach for the Ann Arbor ‘s Rec. and Ed. Dept.; working with adults to challenge them while strengthening their creative abilities in acrylic painting and drawing.
